Wyeth, one of the world's largest research-driven pharmaceutical and health care products companies, wanted to strengthen security and boost productivity within the high-performance data center serving its advanced research group. This study shows how DirectControl enabled them to migrate away from a Sun ONE-based LDAP account system to a more secure, centralized, Active Directory-based solution. "We've saved several hours a week in our group that were previously spent doing password resets, directory server maintenance, and other tasks," observes Wyeth's David Kennamer.
